The LEGO Icons 11389 Project Hail Mary looks like another sleek 18+ display model, but there's a surprising amount of Technic magic hidden inside.
In this detailed review I show you the build details, explain the Technic functions, and show the finished model from every angle. The engineering is impressive, but there’s also a curious positional “anomaly” in the ship’s configuration that doesn’t quite add up for me.
To be clear, this isn’t LEGO getting it wrong, the difference actually comes from the movie adaptation compared to the original book. Still… am I overthinking it, or is there really something off with the physics? Let me know in the comments!
